This delightful and well-presented detached bungalow occupies a corner plot in the sought-after area of Felpham and is offered for sale with no onward chain.

The accommodation is both versatile and inviting, featuring a good-sized sitting room which opens to a bright conservatory adding further living space, creating an enjoyable spot to sit and take in views of the garden throughout the seasons. The kitchen offers a practical layout and direct access to a side porch, which in turn provides additional access to the garage and rear garden.

There are three bedrooms, with bedrooms one and two benefiting from ample fitted storage. Bedroom three is currently open to the hall and used as a snug sitting/reading area, offering flexibility to suit a range of lifestyles and could easily be reinstated as a separate bedroom if desired.

A well-appointed shower room completes the internal accommodation.

Outside, the property’s enviable corner plot position provides a predominantly south-facing aspect with surrounding garden space, allowing for plenty of natural sunlight throughout the day. There is also a driveway which provides off-road parking and access to the garage.

Situation

The property is situated approximately equidistant from Felpham and Middleton villages. The pretty village of Felpham offers a wide range of local facilities including schools, doctors surgery and pharmacy, a sports centre with swimming pool, golf club and a range of useful shops. Middleton village also has a whole host of amenities including doctor, chemists, butchers, fish & chip shop and a sports club with tennis courts and bowls. Historic Arundel, the cathedral city of Chichester and the famous Goodwood motor circuit and racecourse can all be found within approximately a 10 mile radius.

Why live in Middleton-on-Sea?

The development of modern Middleton began after World War I, when Captain H Rowlands S Coldicott purchased great swathes of farmland with a plan to create both a residential estate and a village community.

This led to the development of the private Sea Lane Estate, which is still a sought-after residential area today thanks to its proximity to the sea and local shops. There are also many pretty thatched properties in the area along with small retirement apartments, bungalows and large family homes that enjoy direct access to the sea while, in neighbouring Felpham, we have the glorious private Summerley Estate.

Middleton-on-Sea is within easy reach of Chichester and Bognor Regis and is a perfect setting for family life. We have two local schools, including the Bishop Tufnell Primary School and the Felpham Community College for secondary students, along with a day nursery for pre-school children. We also have a good range of shops for such a small village, including coffee shops, a Post Office, a family butcher, a general store, newsagent, fish and chip shops, gift shops, a florist and some friendly pubs.

At low tide, Middleton-on-Sea’s sandy beach stretches from Littlehampton to Bognor Regis and is a favourite for local dog walkers and those who enjoy the fresh air and tranquillity of the sea.  Elmer Sands, a mile east of Middleton, is a particular beauty spot, enhanced by the interesting rock islands that were built as a sea defence two decades ago and which have left rock pools and safe areas for swimming and beginner water sports. Over in Felpham you’ll find beachfront cafés, the Arun Leisure Centre, which has a swimming pool and a well equipped gym, and public tennis courts next to the Promenade.
