Haywards Heath Estate Agents & Letting Agents

Our Haywards Heath office is located on South Road in the town centre, opposite Victoria Park, and responsible for property sales and lettings in Haywards Heath and the surrounding area. While you will see a variety of house styles in Haywards Heath, some have very distinctive characteristics. For example, the architect Harold Turner was responsible for many properties in the area from the 1930s through to the 1950s and his Arts and Crafts inspired designs used the very decorative windows, facades and detailing that you will see as you travel around the town. There are also some very old buildings that date from the 13th century and are still in active use as either residences or offices, and this all adds to the sense of history. If you are thinking of moving to Haywards Heath the Henry Adams team is here to offer you the ‘simply different’ service that sets our company apart from the rest.

Why live in Haywards Heath?

“Haywards Heath is a popular commuter town with excellent road and rail links to the capital and the coast, a cosmopolitan blend of bars, cafés and restaurants in its busy centre, an abundance of family friendly facilities and beautiful countryside all around.

There is a great selection of schools within the main town for both primary and secondary age pupils with many more private school options in the outlying areas.

If you like to feel close to nature you’ll find yourself right in the heart of it in Haywards Heath. Starting in the centre of town (near the Henry Adams office) there’s Victoria Park, which has three tennis courts, a skateboard park and a paddling pool for younger children. The family attractions at Beech Hurst Park, on the western edge of the town, include a miniature railway and safe play area. Wakehurst Place in Ardingly (to the north of Haywards Heath) mixes ornamental gardens with natural woodlands in a site that is directly managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. Head north east and you can stroll around Ashdown Forest, the place that inspired the Winnie the Pooh stories. Or travel directly east and there’s Sheffield Park, which has some lovely lakes and gardens.

Turning to the attractions of the town, you’ll find a wealth of bars, cafes and restaurants along the Broadway, including the popular Cote Restaurant, Jeremy’s Restaurant and Café Elvira, as well as well-known chains such as Zizzi’s, Prezzo and Café Rouge.   We also have a good choice of shops, with many clustered along South Road and even more in The Orchards, a modern precinct with Marks and Spencers as its anchor store. If you enjoy sports, we have the Dolphin Leisure Centre for swimming and fitness classes and an abundance of local clubs covering everything you could want to do, including athletics, running, cricket, football and equestrian sports.

If you are looking to buy or sell in Haywards Heath then rest assured that everyone on the Henry Adams team knows this area exceptionally well and will be delighted to support and guide you every step of the way.”
