Midhurst CE Primary School children score 100% attendance

Children at Midhurst C of E Primary School were celebrating their excellent attendance record throughout the academic school year with the introduction of a Henry Adams trophy presented to every child who achieved 100% attendance.

Sixteen children at school were delighted to be awarded a trophy at the end of year assembly last week in recognition of them coming to school every day since last September. The trophies were presented by Francis and Sally Martin, partners at Henry Adams in Midhurst.

Head teacher Mrs Sally Clarke said, “The children were thrilled to receive the new trophies which will undoubtedly add further incentive to achieving 100%

“We are very pleased to have Henry Adams on board to promote excellent attendance as it has very close links with attainment and children reaching their full potential.”

Next year Francis and Sally Martin will also be presenting children with a badge for termly 100% attendance and trophies will again be awarded for completing the full academic year without missing a single school day.

Henry Adams also sponsored the school fair at both Midhurst C of E Primary and at Easebourne C of E Primary School this summer by supplying and manning a ‘Super Heroes Tombola’ stall. It proved to be a popular choice with the children and all proceeds went to the schools.
