Sellers look beyond the internet for first class customer service

An impressive 98% of buyers and sellers using Henry Adams have rated our service as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’ in customer feedback received since 2005 when the questionnaires were first sent out.

Richard Williscroft, Chairman of Henry Adams LLP, said, “The customers’ feedback makes very positive reading and it’s particularly pleasing to see that referrals, recommendations and repeat business are such a major part of our work. The contribution made by each member of staff is tremendous and the results show that our customers really do notice the difference they make on a day to day basis.”

Laura Gallagher at our Middleton on Sea office received the most ‘special mentions’ by customers in the last 12 months, which highlights the value homeowners place on excellent personal service in the sometimes stressful moving process.

“It’s always important to understand our sellers and buyers, including why and how people choose us,” said Richard. “Estate agency is very much a local business, with the great majority of buyers and sellers moving locally.
 
“The main reason sellers gave for choosing to instruct Henry Adams was the quality of our staff, closely followed by our reputation which we have proudly built up since the company opened in the heart of Chichester in 1990.”
 
In the past year, the main reason given by customers for moving was to downsize and although almost 60% were moving locally, one in five clients were selling up to relocate to London or the home counties. 

By contrast, a third of buyers were relocating into the area from London and the home counties giving a net migration into the southern counties.

“Almost half of our buyers already live fairly locally and with our network of Henry Adams branches located in prime positions throughout the southern region and along the coastline, it’s no surprise to any us why people would choose to live here,” said Richard.
