Southbourne Show Home now open
Interior designers have been busy adding the finishing touches to the show home at Sussex Grange which has recently opened in the village of Southbourne.
Jackie Eager of The In House Design Company has opted for a ‘fresh, modern, country look’ so the end result will have wide appeal with a warm, welcoming effect while showing quality of the house off to full advantage.
Sussex Grange is a select scheme from Crayfern Homes of just 20 new homes ranging from 2 bedroom houses to semi-detached and detached houses and bungalows.
Henry Adams is handling the marketing and had already secured six reservations ahead of the show home launch. Says Susan Wadsworth, Head of New Homes,
“Crayfern Homes have provided an extremely good standard of specification, complete with underfloor heating downstairs and ground source heat pumps. It’s their attention to detail which really has impressed buyers so far, and we’re delighted to now see the show home unveiled.”
The interior design features a muted, elegant colour palette of ivory, taupe and silver offset with duck-egg and teal accents.
“This particular colour combination creates a sophisticated, calm effect, without being bland,” adds Jackie. “I’m particularly keen on the wallpaper in the master bedroom which has a distinctive dragonfly design. It manages to be striking yet almost classical in its look and has the most beautiful, delicate colour combination.”
This is the first design partnership between Crayfern Homes and The In House Design Company, as Jackie explains: “We have only recently started working with Crayfern Homes and we’re delighted to find that they are what we call a ‘proper, traditional’ housebuilder. Everyone at the company clearly cares deeply about what they are doing and it shows.”
