THE PERFECT SOLUTION TO THE DILEMMA

THE PERFECT SOLUTION TO THE DILEMMA

Last week we looked at the dilemma facing one of our applicants who was interested in viewing a property in Emsworth. The problem was that they lived in Scotland and hadn’t yet put their house on the market - so would the trip to view be worth their time and the expense of flights?

Investigating options

Our negotiator, Charis Henn discussed all the options with the buyer, including the need to get their own property on the market as soon as possible. To have a chance of buying successfully in the current market, where a shortage of homes means stiff competition from other buyers, it’s far better to sell first and be in a good position to offer.

In the end, the buyers took Charis’s advice.

Putting the plan in to action

They put their Scottish home on the market, flew down to Emsworth and loved the property we were selling.  Pulling out all the stops, they managed to secure a buyer on their property in double-quick time which meant they could enter negotiations to buy and we tied up the sale by the following Tuesday.

Hopefully it won’t be long before they can move here permanently and of course our vendors are delighted as they too can now plan their next move.

We can help you off the starting blocks

Anyone considering buying in the current market really needs to be in a position to proceed once they find their ideal home, so it makes sense to get your own property valued now and start the process rolling. Then you’ll be in a strong position for your purchase and one giant step ahead of anyone who has yet to market their home.

The buyers who had the benefit of great advice from Charis now have the prospect of moving into the home of their dreams.

With our experience in handling all sorts of moving dilemmas you can be sure we’ll do our very best to help your move run smoothly.

So if you’re thinking of moving, just give your local Henry Adams office a call or email askhenry@henryadams.co.uk  -  we’re looking forward to hearing from you soon.
