New Chief Executive announced

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Ian Wiggett who takes up the role of Chief Executive for Henry Adams LLP from 1 April 2021.

Our current Chief Executive, Philip Jordan, will remain fully involved in all aspects of the business as he becomes Group Chairman.

Philip Jordan said, “I’m delighted to announce Ian will be taking over from me as part of our succession planning, which will further strengthen our senior management structure. I am particularly pleased that this is an internal appointment as it’s another indication of our commitment to developing our own people. Ian fully understands Henry Adams’ vision and values which will be a great advantage as we enter a post-COVID era.”

Having been an estate agent for more than 20 years, Ian Wiggett joined Henry Adams in 2012 as Lettings Manager and rose to become Managing Director of Henry Adams Lettings in 2015. He has since overseen the expansion of the lettings operation to become one of the largest and most successful in the region following a series of mergers and acquisitions. Henry Adams has now established five lettings centres throughout the region which Ian will continue to oversee within the senior management team.

Ian Wiggett added, “Henry Adams as a company is the envy of the local marketplace and I’m very proud to be accepting this role. Philip and the other senior members of the management team, past and present, have driven this company to new heights and I believe we will continue to go from strength to strength.

“I know the exceptional work ethic and experience of every one of our teams will enable Henry Adams to thrive as one of the leading firms of multi-disciplined property professionals and auctioneers in the South. I look forward to working closely with all of our colleagues and clients on the challenges, opportunities and successes that lie ahead.”

Ian Wiggett is based at Henry Adams in Chichester and Philip Jordan will continue to operate from the Storrington office. The Group operates a network of 16 sales and lettings offices in West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire and we provide expertise across a range of specialist disciplines, including land & new homes, agricultural, surveying, planning, holiday cottages, and fine art auctions.
