Middleton on Sea Estate Agents & Letting Agents

Our Middleton-on-Sea off office is located right in the heart of this tiny West Sussex coastal village and manages residential sales for Middleton and the surrounding villages. The development of modern Middleton began after World War I, when Captain H Rowlands S Coldicott purchased great swathes of farmland with a plan to create both a residential estate and a village community.  This led to the development of the private Sea Lane Estate, which is still a sought-after residential area today thanks to its proximity to the sea and local shops. There are also many pretty thatched properties in the area, each with its own unique style, along with small retirement apartments, bungalows and large family homes with direct access to the sea. In neighbouring Felpham we have the private Summerley Estate along with more recent new developments. The local Henry Adams team have helped people to buy and sell all manner of properties in this delightful area and look forward to providing you with the ‘simply different’ service that we are known for.

Why live in Middleton-on-Sea?

With its choice of marine estates leading to the beach and a pretty village centre full of shops for everyday needs, Middleton-on-Sea is a perfect setting for family life within easy reach of both Chichester and Bognor Regis.

We have two local schools nearby, the Bishop Tufnell Primary School (between Middleton and Felpham) and the Felpham Community College for secondary students along with a day nursery for pre-school children available in Middleton. We also have a decent range of shopping options for the size of the village, including coffee shops, a Post Office, a family butcher’s, a general store, a newsagent, fish and chip shops, gift shops, a florist and some friendly pubs.

At low tide Middleton-on-Sea’s sandy beach stretches from Littlehampton to Bognor Regis and is a firm favourite for local dog walkers and those who enjoy the fresh air and tranquillity of the sea.  Elmer Sands, a mile east of Middleton, is a particular beauty spot, enhanced by the interesting rock islands that were built as a sea defence 24 years ago and now create an excellent family beach area with rock pools and safe areas for swimming and beginner water sports.

Over in Felpham you’ll find some popular beachfront cafés, Arun Leisure Centre, which has a swimming pool and a well equipped gym, and public tennis courts next to the Promenade.

All in all this is a lovely peaceful place with plenty to occupy you. If you are thinking of buying or selling a home in our area, the Henry Adams team will be delighted to help you.”

Richard Longhurst, Partner, Henry Adams Middleton-on-Sea

Testimonial: I was considering using one of the cheaper online selling/marketing services but have been so pleased I didn't. The sale hasn't been plain sailing at all and Henry Adams have earned every penny of their commission. - Judy Walker
