Henry Adams Planning Expansion
The specialist planning department at Henry Adams has appointed Rebecca Tier to the newly created position of Senior Planner.
Rebecca joins the growing team at the company’s Chichester head office. She will be working alongside the development & strategic land teams, Chartered Surveyors, rural, and residential sales & lettings.
Before joining Henry Adams, Rebecca worked at Horsham, Adur and Arun District Councils. She has also worked on planning projects in the South Downs National Park. As a Chartered member of RTPI, Rebecca identified Henry Adams Planning as the type of practice where she could successfully further her career in the private sector, given the company’s reputation for integrity and quality of service.
In addition, Dawn Appleton returns to her former role as Senior Planner at Henry Adams on a permanent basis. Dawn has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. She had retained a close working relationship with Henry Adams and was keen to return to their busy working environment.
The Planning team at Henry Adams is headed by Peter Cleveland. Recent successes for the group have included securing planning permission for Barrett David Wilson for 155 homes in Walberton at appeal; permission for five homes in the South Downs National Park; and the team were also involved in gaining planning permission for a further 70 homes in Angmering, near the south coast.
The team of five is currently working on numerous planning submissions for projects totalling just under 900 homes throughout the southern counties.

I’m sure that, with Rebecca and Dawn joining Ellie White, Zac Denton, and myself, we are in the strongest position to continue to deliver our high service standards to existing and new clients.”
