Care South provide a range of short and long term services to ensure that exactly the right care and support is available to make life more comfortable and enjoyable.
Strome Park, adjoining the private grounds of Sussexdown, is in the picturesque village of Storrington at the foot of the South Downs National Park. The Downs are a major part of southern West Sussex, forming a green backdrop which sweeps downwards to the beaches along the Channel coast with the coastal towns of Chichester, Bognor Regis and Worthing.
As well as many interesting walks and places of interest, West Sussex has some of the county's most beautiful historic buildings. Close to home is the Elizabethan Parham House, one of the finest small stately homes in England, with its attractive gardens and parkland and the larger Petworth House and deer park with famous gardens designed by Capability Brown is a few miles away.
Nearby are the attractive villages of Thakeham and Amberley and the pretty towns of Horsham and Steyning. Arundel with its beautiful Norman Castle, Gothic Cathedral, boutiques, antique shops and galleries is the other side of the Downs towards the coast. The A283 road runs directly through the middle of the village and connects Storrington to Steyning in the east and Pulborough in the west. Mainline train services can be picked up from Pulborough with regular services to London/Victoria, which is about an hour and a quarter away. Trains to Gatwick Airport take about twenty five minutes. Storrington offers a comprehensive range of amenities and shops, including a Waitrose supermarket.
A detailed brochure is available upon request and further information can be provided regarding the extra care services, service charges and ground rent.
