Move to the Country Show
17th May 2013
London buyers with an idyllic view of life in the country are faced with a dazzling range of locations and properties to choose from so to showcase this outstanding part of the south, Henry Adams exhibited a selection of their prime properties at the ‘Move to the Country Show’ on Tuesday 14th May 2013.
The Show, run by The London Office and supported by Country Life, is designed to make life easier for serious house-hunters currently living in London. They were able to gather first-hand advice about property in the countryside without the need to travel as this high profile event was held at The Grand Hall, Battersea Arts Centre, London SW11.
John Corrie, partner at Henry Adams, was delighted with the level of interest generated by the event: “City-dwellers already make up a significant number of enquiries for country property and this year the ‘Move to the Country Show’ was busier than ever with a plentiful number of buyers visiting throughout the afternoon and evening, which shows the market is more positive this spring and looks set to continue.”
“The Show provides a great opportunity for buyers to discuss in detail the distinct areas which make up the character of the countryside” said John. “We could assist with any questions such a move might raise, whether for a second home, an investment, or a more permanent change to a new lifestyle in our Sussex, Surrey or Hampshire market towns, pretty villages and outstanding countryside.”
